Help me decide on a hood for my race car

I think this is the old pro stock scoop style. A couple of places sell these. Just an idea. IMO I like these better than the new pro stock or the cowl.

I met Butch Leal a couple years ago at a Super Stock Reunion show. Real cool guy!

I met him in Commerce many moons ago in his heyday. He has always to this day been one of my all time favorites. Just a all around nice guy. In all the years I watched drag racing I don't think I ever saw The California Flash show bad sportsmanship. Hell of a driver, too.

I bought this car late last October with this scoop on it, but I will be switching to this other hood soon.

Here is a picture of my duster when I bought it. It had the older pro stock scoop on the hood. I keep the hood , but installed another factory hood with dual scoops as i did not need the pro stock scoop. I do think the pro stock scoop gives it a nostalgic look. Has to be better look than a chevrolet cowl hood IMO.

I like the old style Snorkle scoop.It's kind of like the pro stock scoop you've shown, but more squared off. (this was actually the old style Pro stock scoop)

Exactly the thought I had. A variation of this has the front air slot on the lower part of the scoop. Grumpy's Toy was like that.

Too bad you have to have a hood. Topless is a great look.

I like the cowl hood too! The pro stock hood is cool but you need a fast car to pull off that hood. LOL....

i vote the super stock i bought my car with a cowl and hate it i have plans on going to a hemi scoop dusters look to nova or chevy with the cowl hood
