it looks like you guys have lost interest in this build and I am wasting my time posting pictures.

I've been watching, just not commenting. I'm jealous and amazed at how quickly you're moving on it, and am enjoying watching it come together. It all looks great! Keep posting!

Well, I guess I can no longer call this a turd. It isn't brown anymore. Tyler spent the day off at the body shop painting his " Yellow Submarine ". I told him to take a lot of pictures and he did. 53 of them. I didn't post any of them where it was painted but not cleared yet. Just some of the finished product. The body lines look great. good job son. I will be going up on Tuesday and trailering it back home. It is going to rain Monday. The engine and tranny is going in on Saturday, I hope. he has surgery on Monday and I don't want to be down for two weeks doing nothing.

Looking good! Great color combo, I may have missed it but are you going to be putting any stripes on? Keep up the good work, Can't wait to see it in person if its at the River Run.

yes Kegan, it will have stripes on it. And yes we will have both cars at the River Run. Remember, we are supposed to park together. LOL

car came home today from the paint booth. it looks better in the sun than in the pics taken in the paint booth. It is getting married on Saturday. It will be reunited with the engine and a 4 speed tranny this time.

it looks real good but as you can tell we have not had the time to polish them up. But Tyler looked at it and said it should polish up real good. I am going to put it on my Duster. Not the Dart. I have a couple of small pencil lead size dings in mine and I am very conscience of it at shows. Thanks again for the sale. I will get you some pics of it when the cover comes off and we get them on. Bill

spent the day putting in the pilot bearing, new flywheel, clutch kit and throw out bearing. Tranny is ready to be united with the engine. plan on setting the engine and tranny back in on Saturday.

cool, there a little crusty but a little alone time and a buffer is all you need...

Hooked the engine and tranny together today and set them back in the car. We also painted the k frame in the last pic. before it went in. It only took 20 minutes to have it back in the spools and mounted. hooked up the wiper arms under the dash and put the bulkhead connector in. had to quit early today so we could take my wife out to dinner for her birthday.

You're kidding right?

You two are doing great, keep posting. You may not think it's being looked at but it is. And it's a good reference for anyone in the future.

got a lot done yesterday with Tyler recouping from surgery, I got some work done on the engine bay. Put the radiator and shroud in. Overflow bottle, ECM, vaccum ball, z bar, carb., some of the linkages. Throttle. Finished the sound deadener in the inside and the trunk area and the roof. Installed the heater box. Clutch pedals, gas pedal. Today we are going to start putting in the interior, maybe hang the doors and do some more under the dash. pics of todays work.
