Vintage Big Rig Fever............

-
I LOVE big trucks! I wish I had the money to restore one. I started driving them when I was 14-15. I worked at unloading them and was moving them around in the construction yard. (an old 1961 White) When I was older (17)my boss realized I was doing it. I thought I was in trouble when he asked if I thought I could drive one. Instead he sent me to pick up an empty trailer and I was in one the rest of the time I worked for him. 13 years!

Digging around for more pics.

My uncle took me on a ride along 30 years ago and I've loved Big Rigs ever since. Never drove one but I have around 75 model kits, most still needing to be built. I should get working on those come winter time. I know where an on Dodge is sitting in a guys yard that I'd love to get and restore. He thinks it is worth a lot because it has a hemi.

Could be yours-

I once saw what I perceived to be about a 5/6 scale Peterbuilt conventional, pulling a 5th wheel RV style trailer. It was in the vendor aisle of a corvette sponsored car show.
Kind of a double/multiple take, as it wasn't that much smaller, but I had to keep looking at it to figure out what wasn't quite right about it.
