Ordered My Disc Brake Conversion Kit

I went with ECI kit years ago for my front brakes with late model mopar master cylinder. Went with the drilled rotors. Might be cheesy but my cuda has great brakes. I had to nail them pretty hard not long ago after doing a burnout. The car was side ways ... caught...and I lost control of it. If...

I had to change the backing plates awhile back and used the hose clamp method to remove the E-cables.

Trying to remove emergency brake clasp

Haven't got much time to explain ... got to go to work... use a hose clamp on the prongs. Tighten the hose clamp on there to shrink the prongs... then slide it through the hole.

    96 ram drum removal

I haven't found it yet but these GM ones don't have adjuster slots! They would have to be knocked out. Maybe that's the problem here. They have to be knocked out. http://www.spohn.net/shop/1982-1992-GM-F-Body/Brakes-Accessories/Replacement-Brake-Parts/New-Rear-Drum-Brake-Backing-Plate.html

Tell me whats wrong with this pic and how to fix it

I had my booster fluid leak out so much it got below the line. I had to go to town to get some and found out that they have just about quit making it. I went to three different stores to find it but Advance Auto had it. Thank goodness!!

    LOL Glad you found them.

    Where are my bleeders?

I have never seen a caliper or wheel cylinder without a bleeder...keep looking. If all else fails you can crack the brake hose at the caliper with someone in the car pushing the brake. The old school way another words. You need to make sure the line is the highest point to achieve on getting the...

    Master cylinder

I have one of these on my 67 cuda with disc/drum brakes. Works great. They are available at local parts houses for cheaper price. Chrysler mini vans uses this type. Need to make or buy adapter plate. They weigh far less than the standard MC as well...

Wouldn't hurt to change out the old brake fluid to new.

    Long story short

You probably just better off getting another MC and calling it a day. I have never heard of Orielly, Advance, AutoZone, paying for repairs of anykind... even if its their fault. When I buy brake parts of any kind I go to NAPA.

For additional $130 you can easily go with the ECI kit and not have to do anything but mount the kit. http://ecihotrodbrakes.com/dodge_plymouth_discbrake_conversions.html Comes with billet aluminum hubs that are really nice! I got this kit on my car and couldn't be more happy. The kits only...

    Cleaning up a Proportional Valve

No it's not a aftermarket kit. It's same valve as for drum brakes. I was going to install a adjusting valve but after driving the car I found I didn't need it. Yes they are stainless lines. I used a buffing wheel and buffing compound to clean up the valve.
