..........Or dropped a 440 in and then dragged it INTO the lake?

I've got worse.
440 does look pretty dry like it hasn't been run for a decade or so.

perhaps
but it also looks like the last time it DID run, it spewed all the oil out the timing cover

*uninstalled, from a completely different make and model, in a pile in the trunk

It would be a good deal if he was offering $3000 to have someone come to remove it from his property. Just a pile of parts. Don't know what's good, what's bad, or what's there.

I'd pass on that unless it was completely free, but I wouldn't pay to ship or haul it.

What's amazing and unbelievable is a Duster that poorly neglected still has the gas cap.

I wonder if the 440 was "dropped" in as he said or actually bolted to something resembling motor mounts?

Other than the butchered engine compartment I am seeing very little rot. I'd give it look if it were closer.

I looked closely at the pictures, but I couldn't find the handle for the High Tork.

A High Tork is hard to find, especially with the original handle. Most cars only had the medium one and they didn't have a handle, only a strap.

I wonder if he has that stored separately? It's usually attached to the front of the tranny.

Maybe it's under the junk in the trunk...

so nobody wants to fess up and admit this is their project they are selling?
