I have been test driving new Challengers.

As much as I bad mouth modern Chrysler products I really like the new Challenger. It's so much nicer than the pre 2015. I see an R/T plus, manual 6speed with the super track pack in my future. It's more than fast enough for my "grandpa" driving style. I will take mine in white, no...

What do you think about this 66 Fury?

i have seen it in person, several times. Great looking car. More pics in the Craigslist ad. I wouldn't mind buying it but I have no idea about the price. Guy is asking $16,500. 1966 Plymouth Fury III Coupe

Collision shop for a repaint? Just don't do it.

Sadly, we have a nice 1972 Chevelle SS in our shop (real deal, not a clone). It has been in here for 6 months and has little done to it other than our helper stripping all the paint with 40grit and a DA and some minor body work roughed out. This was quoted as a 3 month job. The car hasn't...

It was a good turn out with great weather.

Wife and I won awards at the local car show.

Nothing fancy. Just Sponsor Choice awards. It was still a fun time and the first time the wife and I have had our cars out together. My car rarely gets driven.

My first big drive after getting the Barracuda back on the road.

My first big drive after getting the Barracuda back on the road. Finally, I had a chance to show off my car to people that had only heard me talk about it. I drove the Barracuda to work, 74 mile round trip. It ran fantastic! I wasn't sure about my combo because of the large solid roller...

    Bad "New" parts frustration.

Bad "New" parts frustration. So last month when I got my Barracuda back on the road, I immediately started having cooling problems. System would not hold pressure, lower hose would visibly start collapsing at idle and so on. This is what I found.... My brand new radiator cap and...

    My Barracuda.

It is FREAKIN AWESOME! 6ish years of looking at it sit there and now it's running and driving again. Sounds and drives FANTASTIC! Took the little lady around the block and now she wants to drive it to work. I still have some cosmetic issues, under the hood, I want to take care of but...

Worse than a 5 year old on Christmas morning.

Woke up at 4am, again at 5.... Spent yesterday working on the Barracuda. I had moved it to the carport so I would have to look at it everyday. I guess that was the motivation I had needed. Everything is done except the fuel line from the pump to the carb. I'm just waiting for daylight...

What was the correct fan set up for a 68 340 with AC?

7 blade, clutch fan with a spacer? Im about ready to fire up my car again but I can see I have some clearance issues now that I have put the AC components back on. The fan I have now is the Mopar Performance, clutch fan without a spacer. I could solve everything by going to a 3/4" to 1"...

1966 Dart 270, Hardtop? Are these impossible to find?

I have been looking for several years and it's like they don't exist.

Some fun pics of the wife's 73 interior.

How often do you see these...... Dealer installed "Lifetime Warranty" vinyl seat covers. Original owner installed green shag carpet on the package tray. Both have done their job. The seats and package tray look brand new underneath. The white mark on the glove box door is from the flash.

Could be a fun little driver.

Holly crap, my engine is in!

I haven't driven the car for years and I have been very lazy, but the original 340, along with it's 4 speed are back in it's home. The engine has been rebuilt and on a stand for months. Sure feels good. I got everything done underneath. Next will be some more detailing, bolting down the...

1966 Dart 270, 2 Door, Hardtop. How hard can it be?

1966 Dart 270, 2 Door, Hardtop. How hard can it be? Honestly. I have been looking for one (locally) for about 2 years. I never see one for sale. Then last week one came up but the car was from the coast and very rusted.... Factory 273 and priced @ $1,966.

Misrepresentation in the "for sale" section.

If someone is clearly not being honest in their description do we owe it to the FABO family to mention it or not? What's your opinion?

    New job. Wish me luck.

Looks like returning to college may pay off. I'm in my last term of an associates degree in collision repair and refinishing. My GPA has been a steady 4.0 and I have completed 47, I-Car certifications including structural repair on steel and aluminum. Included in this program is one year of...

Spent yesterday working on my friends Unimog.

Had the front end out (I painted it). Replaced bearings and u-joints. Put on bigger tires. This thing is ridiculous now with the new tires. 106" wheel base and over 20" of ground clearance under the differentials. Below is a pic of me with the front diff touching the center of my back...

    60 hours of welding.

Well, after 60 hours of holding a TIG torch and Spool-gun, I am now i-car qualified to do automotive structural repairs on aluminum. I'm confident I can do a safe and correct repair but 60 hours really isn't anything but a starting point to becoming a good welder.
